Hey, there!
Gail, here! I’m your favorite self-taught freelance graphic designer. Over the past 7+ years, my career a has afforded me the chance to be a content creator and visual media director while serving at my local church as an administrative assistant.
A few tidbits: I’m thoroughly introverted with a healthy side of shy; I’m a private person who’s drawn to the great indoors; especially, in the winter. I love the city life. Raised in Minneapolis (northside for life!) and schooled in St. Paul, I think of “home” often. Nothing beats that downtown skyline and those picturesque lakes.
I moved near Ann Arbor after college and, well, didn’t leave. Professionally, I started off as a pretty stellar medical billing specialist with the cleanest A/R around (which had nothing to do with my college major, but I digress). Life lifed, so now I’m based in the greater Detroit area. And now, I find myself enjoying creating and studying graphic design work. Who would’ve thought?
To refuel creatively, I love a good museum tour or I’m always-always down for a lovely meal. Spending as much time as possible in vibrant urban spaces is also very necessary for me. The backdrop of my life is music. It’s a must. Finally, in my very minimal free time, I try to win Mario Kart against a trio of super competitive girls (my kids) and write creatively.

Great question. After January 2025, for sure. Possibly early spring. My personal schedule is pretty busy at the top of every year.

Let’s make contact!
Although I’m currently on a design hiatus this season, I’m still working my 9 to 5. That means, I have to check [insert long sigh] my emails, lol.
There are some projects, I’m obligated to complete (even while on break) so you may see some of my work floating out there before I’m officially back.
If there’s an urgent need, feel free to drop a line and we’ll chat to see if it’s doable.
